About Bill Sosis
I'm Bill Sosis and I am running for the Mansfield Township Committee. My key focus is about the committee taking acountability when issues are raised to them. People try to do the right thing and come to the committe to get their problems solved. But too often this seems like sending a letter to Santa Claus, it does not seem like they are taking our concerns seriously and nothing happens. I believe that the committee has a responsibility to the people who put them in those seats and each topic should be seriously considered until a resolution is reached. Accountability is key.
I began my career in IT, analyzing business needs and leading global projects. After more than 20 years I felt another calling. I went to law school in my 50's and started a second career. Working in this profession opened to my eyes to how the law could be used in the wrong ways, so I began to work with the Public Defender's office, defending those who can't defend themselves. Now I would like to put this skill to work in our township.
